Brand:Keurig Best Coffee Makers

I recently purchased the new Keurig B-70 Gourmet Single Cup Home Brewing System that was released on October 1st, 2006 and have been very happy with it. The machine is extremely well designed, simple to operate, aesthetically pleasing, and most importantly, brews an excellent cup of coffee. I am very impressed with how quickly it is able to brew a cup of coffee, the selection of brew sizes, and how simple clean up is.

There are a variety of single cup brewers on the market now, many utilizing pre-packaged coffee “pods” for brewing. Personally I was not comfortable purchasing a product where I would be locked into the selection and pricing of a specific manufacturer, or one that would only brew coffee and not tea and cocoa. This is just one area where Keurig really shines above their competition.[ Best Coffee Makers ]

Keurig has gathered support of a variety of gourmet coffee, tea, and cocoa manufacturers and there currently there are over 140 different types sold pre-packaged in K-Cups including Green Mountain, Diedrich, Gloria Jean’s, Timothy’s, Van Houtte, Tully’s, Coffee People, Newman’s Own, Celestial Seasonings, Bigelow, Twinings, and Ghirardelli. Not only is there a large selection to choose from, there are a variety of resellers online offering K-Cups, and pricing is extremely competitive.

In addition to the pre-packaged offerings, Keurig offers the My K-Cup Reusable Coffee Filter allows you to use your own gourmet ground coffee in your Keurig home brewer. This option provided the extra level of comfort I personally needed to make the jump into a single cup brewer. Frankly I don’t find myself using it very often as I had originally thought, as there are so many options available in pre-packaged K-cups.[ Best Coffee Makers ]

The pricing of the Keurig brewers are extremely reasonable, and brews gourmet coffee in just a fraction of the cost of purchasing it from a Starbucks, Coffee People, or similar. I expect that my machine will pay for itself in savings in just a couple months of use.

The only suggestion I have for Keurig is that the My K-Cup Reusable Coffee Filter be included with the sale of the brewer, and not an optional accessory. It is such an inexpensive accessory that I am surprised it was not included. Overall the Keurig brewers are excellent value and quality and would recommend them to anyone interested in a single cup brewer.

Being one who loves convenient, but great tasting coffee, I’ve bought several single-serve coffee machines. The Home Cafe, My Bunn Cafe, and the most recent, Tassimo.

They all worked quite well, considering how “new” they were to the field, and how fresh the field really was at the time, for consumers. I was happy with each purchase(save the Home Cafe, which had a serious mechanical flaw).

I’m not going to spend all my time just comparing the Keurig machine; I’m simply going to say “I wish I’d bought one of these[any Keurig machine] earlier”. It meets almost all the desires I had in a single-serve coffee machine.

- Tons of variety in K-cups (which actually can be difficult, I didn’t know where to start or what to try!)

- Simple to use

- Beautiful, functional design

- 4 brew size choices

- Keeps water hot for the next cup instead of waiting until you fiddle with the machine

- Can be used with a custom filter K-Cup so you can brew any coffee you like (I’m looking forward to using this with tea too!)

- Much quieter than some machines I’ve used (the Tassimo is freakishly loud in my opinion)

Those are just some reasons I love this machine. The fact that it makes very good coffee is a big plus too, right? It seems as if the coffee from the Keurig machine tastes less “burnt” than most single serve coffee I’ve had in the past.[ Best Coffee Makers ]

My biggest complaint is the cost. Whether it’s worth $200 to you or not, is entirely up to YOU. If you’re as obsessed with quick, easy, tasty coffee like I am, maybe you’ll agree that it is worth it.

I’m a happy customer, either way. ;)

I was introduced to this coffee maker about 6 months ago when I spent five days at a lake house in Texas with ten of my gal pals to celebrate my birthday. Each morning we had the thrill of going through the many selections of K-Cups and picking out the perfect one to suit our individual needs for that morning! Everyone got exactly what they wanted – in about 40 seconds. No mess, no fuss, no leftovers to toss away.

After doing some more research into the variety of “single cup” brewing systems I realized that this really is THE ONE TO HAVE. Unlike the Tassimo brewing system, Keurig offers you a variety of gourmet coffee & tea manufacturers to choose from. Don’t forget to order the K-Cup Reusable Coffee filter so that you can use your own coffee grounds – yet another option that Keurig offers. Variety is the spice of life so stock up on your favorite herbals teas & flavored coffees and remember to order the Spinning Carousel to hold your choices (27 slots) for easy viewing! There are many websites to choose from that sell these K-cups. Amazon has a decent variety but they’re not always available.

We’ve had so many friends pop in at a moments notice and instead of hurrying to brew a pot of coffee we just direct them to the K-cups and let them choose for themselves. No more making a pot of decaf and then a regular pot to please everyone![ Best Coffee Makers ]

A great feature is that you can set a timer to have the system turn on so when you get up in the morning you have hot water ready to go and then set the timer to turn the machine off at another desired time. Keurig suggests leaving the system on all the time but I think it’s unnecessary especially if you’re only morning coffee drinkers like us! It only takes about 4 minutes for the water to heat up so if you can’t wait that long you’ve got issues that need to be addressed with a professional.

Get this for your own household and one as a holiday gift to share with someone else. They’ll thank you over and over again!

Cuisinart DCC-1200 12-Cup Brew Central Coffee maker

Folks, this is an excellent coffee maker. It seems that Cuisinart has engineered a solution for complaints of spilled water. Also, coffee coming out of the carafe of my machine has steam drifting off of it, so it is plenty hot, another complaint that seems to have been remedied. There were also a pair of complaints about finger prints on the stainless and the small LED clock being hard to read, but let’s be for real, all brushed stainless appliances will fingerprint and this is a very stylish coffee maker, not a kitchen  what your microwave is for! (wink)). Actually I think the Cuisinart guys intended the clock for autoprogramming functions and made it LED to match the stainless on the machine.

Brand:Cuisinart Best Coffee Makers

The Cuisinart DCC 1200 Brew Central Coffeemaker is the best coffeemaker that I have ever owned. I have been using it for the last several months and have not regreted making this purchase. I looked at other manufacturers of coffeemakers, Braun, Krups, and the like, but I felt that they didn’t offer what this coffeemaker has to offer. I love the retro style with the stainless steel look. It’s a breeze to program and if you don’t need 12 cups a coffee, you press one button on the front and you can make a great small pot of coffee. It by far makes the best pot of coffee that I have ever tasted, and since I roast my own coffee at home I should know. There are a couple of minor issues, but they are so minor it isn’t a large drawback to the machine. It can be a chore to pour in the water and with it large size, with top lid open, you have to pull it out from under the upper kitchen cabinets to fill. It’s a minor inconvenience, but when you use it daily you slowly find little tricks that make those minor issues seem to disappear. Others have complained about not seeing the clock very well, but why depend on your coffeemaker to tell time when it is really there to be programmed to wake up to a hot pot of delicious coffee. The condensation issue hasn’t been a problem for me, so I can’t comment on that issue that some have had with this coffeemaker.[ Best Coffee Makers ]

I will say that if you are looking for a great coffemaker, then this is the one for you. It’s a bit more money than most coffeemakers, but I think that for the money this coffeemaker is the best bang for the buck and you will never regret owning one.

First I’d like to say that these review sites really kill me. Invariably, you have to wade through countless trivial comments like, “I had to turn the spool wheel too many times before I could change the string on my string trimmer” or, here’s a classic, “the stereo I bought is just too loud and I have to keep the volume at the number 5 setting all the time.” (trust me, this is from an actual review). Well, you’ll be happy to know that the reviews for the DCC-1200 are no different. Anywhere from “why do you have to turn the knob to brew and then flick a switch for on” to, “I can hear the plastic creaking as it heats up” (that one really makes me laugh) to, “it’s just too tall and doesn’t fit under my cabinets” (didn’t you size it up before you bought it)?Look people, this unit makes coffee. It does it well and it does it like it’s supposed to. You pour water in the top, add your favorite beans, wait a bit and, here’s the kicker, coffee comes out the bottom! Holy smokes! It’s got two knobs, an on and off switch and a few buttons to set things like the clock. To brew, turn the knob to brew and flick the on switch. To auto-brew, turn the knob to auto-brew and flick the on switch. To program the clock/auto on/auto off, turn the knob to clock/auto on/auto off and… press a button. Wow, this is really tough stuff. And, to make matters worse, omygosh, the LCD clock doesn’t have a back light!! Armageddon here we come. You don’t have enough clocks in your kitchen between the wall, the microwave, the oven, and every other stinking thing that has to tell you the time these days?

The other knob adjusts the hot plate setting. Low-Med-High. Trust me, there are many complaints that the Cuisinart doesn’t get their coffee hot enough. Not hot enough? How hot do you really want it? I’m sure Cuisinart wasn’t thinking about their specs reaching boiling temperature when they designed this thing. Trust me folks, it’s close enough. I’d say close to McDonald’s scalding hot coffee but I won’t even sue Cuisinart for potentially burning my crotch.

As for the plastic creaking, when the temperature heats up, the plastic expands inside, what do you want anyway? Whatddya mean it’s only stainless steel on the outside? I’ve been ripped off!!! I mean come on, if you really want a true stainless steel coffee maker, go spend the $2000 and buy professional so that you can mount it on the dash of your Beemer. Just don’t waste our time with comments like this.[ Best Coffee Makers ]

Oh yeah and the alarm/beeping that everyone’s complaining about? Well, let me just say that the “Hounds of the Baskervilles” comment is a little unjustified. I would hate to hear what this person does when their microwave goes off, or, if their telephone rings, or if one of the kids makes a noise. Folks, this is a series of 5 small beeps when the brewing cycle is near completion. Kind of a tee tee tee tee tee. So, unless you sleep with your coffee maker on your night stand, I wouldn’t worry so much about this one.

Condensation. I don’t know one coffee maker out there that when you open the lid to dump your grounds just after the brewing is complete where some of it doesn’t drip on the countertop. So, suck it up. Get your sink sponge and wipe it up. Are we that inconvenienced by this?[ Best Coffee Makers ]

And finally, the dreaded reservoir comment. “It’s too small and I pour water all over the place.” Blah blah. Pour water in, get coffee out. So far, I haven’t missed the bullseye. Could I be doing something wrong here? And about those darned tank markers. Does anybody honestly use those things? Fill up the pot and pour it in. Now you know how much coffee you’ll make. Huh?![ Best Coffee Makers ]

The bottom line is that this is a good coffee maker. It has a self cleaning cycle to tell you when to decalcify, makes piping hot coffee but… oh no, produces condensation. It’s kind of like when you heat water on the stove and it produces that steamy stuff, and it forms those… water droplets. Ah whatever.

Look, if you’re the type who doesn’t have to have their maid do everything for them or worse flog the person who doesn’t quite fold the towel right on the towel bar, go out and buy this product, you won’t be disappointed.

I recently decided that it was time to buy a new coffeemaker and wanted the BEST! I did my research thoroughly, online and by word-of-mouth, and decided on Cuisinart’s DCC-1200 12-Cup Brew Central Coffeemaker. This terrific gadget arrived a week ago and I am thrilled with it.I love my coffee and usually make time to have at least one, if not two, 12 oz. mugs of freshly brewed java before I leave the house in the AM. Although this is a 12 cup coffeemaker, the settings are geared for a 5 oz. cup. So, for those of you who think a 12 cup machine is too much, this factor should be considered. Coffee is 98% water and if the quality of water used is not good, your final result won’t be either. Cuisinart’s DCC-1200 has a charcoal water filter that removes chlorine, calcium, bad tastes and odors. The self-cleaning feature is terrific and a warning light will flash to notify when calcium buildup is interfering with the machine’s functioning mechanism. Programming for delayed brew time is a snap with the LCD digital clock. One of the features I like best is the heater plate control knob. I like my coffee steaming hot – and this feature assures that I can control the temperature of the nonstick heating plate. The machine also looks great on my kitchen counter.

I had thought about buying a combination coffeemaker/coffee grinder and decided against it. Apparently, many combination machines leave a sludgy residue and are a hassle to clean. I preferred using my own grinder, which is easy to clean, and this coffee maker – also very easy to clean and maintain. This machine is a coffee lover’s dream!![ Best Coffee Makers ]

I bought the BEST! Very highly recommended!

Keurig B60 Special Edition Gourmet Single-Cup Home-Brewing System Coffee Makers

If you’re reading this review, you’re most likely doing research and trying out to decide between the Keurig line (B40,B50,B60), the Tassimo, or the Senseo. Out of those three, the Keurig is the best look, the most durable, has the best heating and pumping mechanism, and has the largest variety of coffees and teas ready. The Tassimo’s versatility is tempting, but variety of coffees is lacking, the machine is a first-run model that does not feel as quality as the Keurig (I could barely find a part of metal in the entire thing), and it cannot be set to warm itself up like the Keurig. The Senseo isn’t bad and I may still consider getting it as a second machine.

Brand:Keurig Best Coffee Makers

After purchasing 3 other coffee makers, 4th one is the charm! This coffee maker make’s great tasting coffee. I never knew there was a difference – it’s worth spending a few more dollars on. It also has all of the features I was looking for such as: adjustable warming plate, 1-4 cup selection, water filter, programmable. It is a rather tall machine, but certainly not a problem as it fits fine underneathe most cabinets. Also, the carafe is well made and has a spout that pours nicely without spilling. No complaints about this one!

When my Braun FlavorSelect coffee maker unexpectedly stopped working, I had to scramble to find a new machine. I wanted another Braun, but unfortunately, they seem to have stopped making a 12 cup coffee maker. So I had to begin an intense search for a machine that had the features I wanted combined with good value. I finally found it with this Cuisinart model.

The advantages? For one, it makes excellent and HOT coffee. The carafe is solidly constructed and fits securely in square body so there’s no chance of someone accidentally knocking it loose. Because the lid fits tightly, the pour is precisely narrow and smooth, with no side leaks even when the pot is full. The basket fits inside the housing instead of swinging free like so many models which prevents a misalignment between the water and the filter; the conical (Krups/Braun style) basket accepts both paper filters and gold-tone, although I learned the hard way that not all gold filters fit. The timer is very easy to program, as is the clock. The carafe warmer can be set at low, medium, or high for the temperature that’s right for you. I found the “high” setting too hot since I drink my coffee black (I like my coffee hot but not scalding!), but those who add a lot of milk might appreciate it. The brewing is quick and efficient, with the process taking about a minute a cup, maybe less. The retro/stainless look complements most modern kitchen décors. There’s a 1-4 cup setting to make sure such small amounts stay hot, and you can select how long the warmer remains on. The pot beeps five times when brewing is complete and just before the warming plate shuts off. Parts are top rack dishwasher safe. It comes with a water filter system designed to improve the taste of the brew.[ Best Coffee Makers ]

If you have the space for this coffee maker, you’ll love it. I can’t attest to how long it will last, but, as it comes with a three year warranty, I’m hoping for a good run.

Folks, this is one excellent coffee maker. I read the comments here and decided to get it even though some had complained of spillage when lifting the lid and also the coffee not being hot enough. Well I can tell you that when I lift the lid on mine, the water rolls to the back and then drips back into the machine on a nifty little lip attached to the back of the machine. It appears that Cuisinart has engineered a solution for the complaints of spilled water that some reviewers mention. Also, the coffee coming out of the carafe of my machine has steam drifting off of it, so it is plenty hot, another complaint that seems to have been remedied. There were also a couple of complaints about finger prints on the stainless and the small LED clock being hard to read, but let’s be for real, all brushed stainless appliances will fingerprint and this is a very stylish coffee maker, not a kitchen clock(that’s what your microwave is for! (wink)). Actually I think the Cuisinart guys intended the clock for autoprogramming functions and made it LED to match the stainless on the machine. And if you don’t like the water filter, you don’t have to use it. It is a nicety and can be readily found if you search the net for “dcc1200 water filter”.[ Best Coffee Makers ]

Enough defending complaints though. This machine makes superb coffee. It has the best carafe I have ever used(it will not spill a drop and it has a built-in plastic rim to keep you from busting it on the sink). It comes with a gold metal filter. Buy it and you will like it. And if for some strange reason you don’t, then take it back. All jabs aside, this is an outstanding machine in form as well as function, and the people at Cuisinart obviously care what their customers think of their products. That means alot to me. How about you???

Zojirushi EC-BD15 Fresh Brew Thermal Carafe Coffee Maker-Zojirushi Coffee Makers

Lots of folks disapproval the burnt flavor that coffee gets when it sits in a glass pot over a warming element. To avoid this, coffee shops frequently brew right into large thermal pots to hold the coffee warm without it becoming overcooked. The Zojirushi Fresh Brew does that, too, but in home-sized batches. It appears great, too, with a glossy black body and stainless steel carafe and brew basket.

To brew, lift the lid and swing the water outlet spout to one side while the filter is being loaded; the spout will return to its proper position when the lid is closed. A tiny red ball in the water gauge makes it extra simple to read. And an electronic clock module also serves as a timer that will start the brewer at a specific time. The carafe’s lid is designed to be on during brewing, with a small cap to help keep the heat in after it’s ready. The Fresh Brew also has a pause-and-serve function that stops the flow for 30 seconds while a cup of coffee is served.

Brand:Zojirushi Best Coffee Makers

I’ve spent several weeks week getting to know the Zojirushi Fresh Brew… and for the most part, I’m quite pleased. It has some foibles [which I'll get to in a moment] but on the whole it’s a very capable coffee brewer. More, it’s one of the very few home models I know that can brew 8 cups of just-roasted coffee at a proper 2 tablespoons per cup ratio without fuss, and – this is important! – maintain proper brewing temperatures throughout the entire brew cycle.

The details…

Zoji has been making vacuum pots and the like for nearly 100 years, and they’ve been making an assortment of rice-cookers, tea brewers and hot water dispensers for decades. While this is, I believe, their first home coffee brewer, they’ve got more than a little experience in kitchen electrics. They’ve put that experience to good use.

If you’ve ever brewed up a thermos full of coffee using a big Melitta filter cone then this setup will look pretty familiar. For all intents and purposes, the Fresh Brew simply adds an automated hot water delivery system to the mix… with a few improvements.

Improvement number one: not only does this system brew into an all-stainless thermal carafe [no hot plate here, thankyouverymuch] but it also insulates the brew basket. What good is it, after all, to heat up all that water if it’s just going to get cold while you’re brewing? This is huge! This is important! This is… well, I’m excited about it, okay?

Improvement number two: the Fresh Brew features an accurate gauge of water volume. When it reads that you’ve got 8 cups of water in the brewer’s reservoir, it means it. Mind you, we’re talking 6 oz. cups of water — that’s the way the coffee world measures a cup [unless you're Bodum and then it's 4 oz.].

Improvement number three: the Fresh Brew is patient. The biggest pain about the manual pour-over method is that you’ve got to wait to add more water, especially if the coffee is really fresh. Fresh coffee blooms with its charge of CO2! Faced with a full basket of coffee that was literally fresh from the roaster the Zoji didn’t overflow, nor did it heave grounds into the water dispensing shower-head. More, the grounds were thoroughly saturated; no dry spots.

So where’s the foibles?[ Best Coffee Makers ]

Like a great many autodrip brewers the feeder tube that comes from the Zoji’s heating element to the shower-head takes a straight path right through the water reservoir. For most brewers this is a game-over situation… the heating element simply can’t overcome the heat exchange that occurs en route to the brew-head. On the Zoji, the heating element *does* get hot enough… provided that the water you’ve placed in the reservoir is not *too* cold.

Example A: In the office using the “unchilled” spigot on the water cooler, I draw off 48 ounces of water for the reservoir and brew a pot. Throughout the brew cycle water temperatures in the brew basket range between 195 and 200 degrees F. The result is a lovely pot of Ethiopian Yrgacheffe that is sweet, floral and lemony.

Example B: At home I draw off 48 ounces of water from the water filter in-line with the refridgerator. The temperature of the water in the reservoir is about 40 degrees F. and the resulting temperature in the brew basket never tops 185 degrees F. The result is an icky pot of the very same Yrgacheffe that is bitter, murky and flat.

The moral: mind your initial water temperature and you’ll do just fine.

All in all, the Zojirushi Fresh Brew is capable of making 8 cups of coffee that’s on a par with manual pourover methods. Better, really, as it insulates the brew-basket to better maintain water temperatures.

I haven’t had any problems with this machine in all the years I have owned it. Two weeks after I purchased it, my pug pushed a chair over to the kitchen counter, climbed onto the chair and then the counter and while scavenging through the dirty dishes from the night before, knocked my new coffeemaker onto the floor. The lid broke off the coffeemaker itself but will still sit on it. The liner in the carafe is stainless steel, so it wasn’t damaged like a glass one would have been. Even after this punishment, the coffeemaker continued to work and still does to this day. I haven’t even cleaned it other than throwing all the removable parts into the dishwasher. If you are looking for a coffeemaker that makes great coffee, doesn’t need a lot of maintenance and lasts for years, this is it. If this one does fail, I hope that they are still making it, because I will buy it again. I have recently decided to replace the lid on it. This is the one you’re looking for.

If you’re looking for a dependable, no-frills thermal coffee maker, this one is perfect. It keeps coffee hot for hours, it’s very easy to use and clean, and it doesn’t make an annoying sound when you’re coffee’s done. (It doesn’t make any sound, which we prefer, but you may not.) One tip: For best results, use lukewarm water.

Brand:Keurig Best Coffee Makers

The Keurig B-40 makes excellent, well flavored coffee… in a snap! It tastes just as good as a brewed cup with a traditional coffee maker, it does NOT taste like it came from a vending machine.

The only con is minor: the 7.25 ounce serving size. This is perfect for a coffee cup, but a large coffee mug will require you to brew 2 k-cups. But brewing is so quick, that you can brew both K-cups within 30 seconds.

The B-40 is an excellent choice for a model. Because brew cycles are so fast, you do not need the timer option that comes with the B-50 or B-60. The B-50 also offers a smaller cup brew option, but trust me – you won’t need it. The B-40 also comes with an auto-off feature that will turn off the machine 2 hours after the last brew, which is great if you worry you may forget to. (If you drink coffee throughout the day, you can disable this feature too.)

I joined Green Mountain Coffee’s “cafe club”. Check it out on their website. Huge variety of coffees and teas. Free shipping and automatic deliveries of your favorite flavors set up on a schedule you choose.

Great coffee maker, highly recommend.

I have been using the Keurig B-40 for over 7 months now and have been very impressed with it. It heats up very quickly, and the auto shut-off feature allows you to have your machine shut down after 2 hours of inactivity. You can use the B-40 for brewing tea by buying tea in K-cups, but I simply and frugally put my tea (either loose in strainer or in a bag) in a cup and run the Keurig without a K-cup in the holder. I use the Keurig in a similar manner to add hot water to cups of soup.

As mentioned in other reviews, the 7.25 oz brewing size is fine for a single regular cup, but small for a big mug or travel mug. Furthermore, the strength of the coffee that you get with the regular K-cups is too weak for my taste. The regular K-cups are better suited to one of the other Keurig brewers (B50 or B60) where you have the option of changing your brewing volume to 5.25 oz. The caveat is that you have even less coffee. The Extra-Bold K-cups that vendors are now selling actually do brew a great cup of coffee in the 7.25 oz size and I would recommend that you order Extra-Bold versions of your coffee if you like your coffee stronger. K-cups are a fantastic convenience – easy to use and easy to dispose of. Maybe too easy – I blasted through my first box of 25 in the first week at work. They are not cheap either, at between 40 and 50 cents a cup if you search for deals. However, the Extra-Bold varieties are fairly limited in availability. An accessory that I highly recommend – the Keurig 5048 My K-Cup Reuseable Coffee Filter – allows you to fill its reusable basket up to the rim with your favorite ground coffee. If you fill it all the way it makes a very strong cup of joe – just the way I like it.[ Best Coffee Makers ]

After several years of laboring over our home coffee machine for mediocre coffee, or waiting in line to spend $$$$ at our local coffeehouse, my husband and I began to consider coffee as just an occasional treat. However, I gave the Keurig B-40 to my husband as a gift, and not a single day has gone by that we have not enjoyed it! It is so easy – just pop in the k-cup, press the brew button, and you have a great cup of coffee or tea. It is perfect for us – we drink about two cups each day with no mess or fuss. The coffee is great – lots of variety in the choices. Check out the different vendors online and you can really save money on the k-cups. We have experimented with ours – making iced tea or iced coffee by using a tall glass of ice instead of the usual mug. I can even use my own tea bags – the Keurig heats up the water very quickly and makes it easy. One of the downsides with this model is that you can’t adjust the size (and it is a small serving). To fill up a large mug you might need two or three cycles. You also can’t adjust the strength of the brew – your only option is to choose a dark or light roast to vary the intensity. However, both of us have found several flavors that we really enjoy, and our guests are always impressed that they can choose their own blend and flavor! We also tried the Tassimo and the Senseo brands, and found the flavor to be lacking (much more mediocre). If you are a true coffee fan, and want a professionally styled machine that makes it simple and fast to make, then the Keurig B-40 is for you!

Hamilton Beach 43253 Ensemble 12-Cup Coffeemaker, Red-Hamilton Beach Coffee makers

Hamilton Beach Ensemble coffeemaker 12 cup capability, Stainless steel body & red accent color matches up with the Ensemble toaster , can opener & blender for a beautiful kitchen appliance display . Drip Free carafe and programmable digital clock.

We had no need for a new coffee pot. The available one from Gevelia was working just nice. However, on a recent trip to K-mart we caught this one on sale for just under 40 bucks, and it’s RED! We’ve slowly been building up a counter top of red kitchen appliances, so the coffee maker fits right in!

Easy to clean! The mouth of the pitcher is as wide as the base, so it’s easy to get your hand inside to clean it out unlike some. Few buttons, so it’s easy to program too. Very light weight, so it’s also easy to move the maker around if necessary. No complaints about speed either. I never feel like I’m waiting on it to finish. One small complaint, but it’s nothing major…there is no room for going over the 12 cup limit. It will overflow! Some makers have a little room for you to overfill, but not this one! No biggie, just don’t overfill!

User Review’s:

Brand:Hamilton Best Coffee Makers

After having other coffeemakers that are hard to clean, slow, unnecessarily complicated, we finally have one that we hope never dies. It’s sleek, easy, makes great coffee and at a much faster pace than our previous machine (that died at two years-old!! ARGHHH!). Granted, it doesn’t grind the beans for you, but as anyone who has used the Cuisinart Grind & Brew, or something similar, those combos result in a steamy wet mess to clean up every time you brew. Too much moisture from brewing gets into the grinder portion. Also, since the grinding basket has to be dry when you use it, if you forget to clean it out right after use (like you’re late for work and the pot is low priority!) and discover your lapse the next day–too late to grind then. So, we have a separate grinder now, and love our Hamilton Beach. Besides, look at it. It’s just plain cool!

yes it does have a short cord; yes it utilizes extra counter space; yes the water arm has to be moved before filling it with coffee; and yes, it is a 12 cup pot with no extra BUT, this hamilton beach is the BEST auto-coffeemaker i have ever owned — going back 40 years and many different brands and models.[ Best Coffee Makers ]

it’s fast, programmable, pretty and makes great coffee. who could ask for more?

Delivery was speedy- Coffee maker is just perfect-easy to operate -easy to clean -easy to add water and coffee – color- red excellent – flavor just right – only negative thing is pot turns off in 2 hours so you have to check and turn on if pot is still in use .
